Endless Zombie Rampage 2 (stylized as "The Endless Zombie Rampage 2") is a top down shooter game. It was released on April 29, 2009, two years after the first game and has since gained nearly double the amount of plays: over one million.
While many elements return from before, Endless Zombie Rampage 2 provides more of a story-based experience; complete with objectives to complete, and non-playable characters to be interacted with.
Like before, players are able to submit their final scores for daily ranking against other entries. Significantly bigger scores have a chance to be displayed on a separate list, which contains the top scores from all time, until they are surpassed.

Core aspects of the game remain largely unchanged from its predecessor: players are given control of a character to dispatch endless numbers of enemies in order to gain experience points. The base can now be entered, serving as a safe zone against the undead. A shop can be accessed inside, but players can not shoot and reload in this area. It is no longer required to be defended extensively.
The game's armory has been minimized, in favor of being able to upgrade each weapon for reliability.

Weapons can be upgraded for better reliability, while perks can be bought to increase character performance. Health is healed automatically from first aid kits upon excessive damage.

Compared to the first game, Endless Zombie Rampage 2 has received a more favorable response from players.
